Elpers has certified crane inspectors who can perform in-house crane inspections, which include the OSHA required Monthly and Annual Inspections as well as the ASME Periodic Inspections. Training and certification also ensures that our inspectors meet the OSHA and ASME competency and qualification requirements.

Inspector certification requirements

  • Complete a Crane Institute of America Mobile Crane Inspector training program.
  • Pass a written examination.
  • Have three (3) years experience working in a capacity of operation, maintenance, repair, inspection, safety or supervision with telescoping and/or lattice boom cranes.
